Sometimes you realise that you need a good athletic shoe for your sports. This is especially relevant when you need to restart your training routine after the long winter – like I do now! And to do that, you need some good quality athletic shoes preferably from good footwear wholesalers.
And, of course, a lot of humans can suffer injuries if they wear bad quality footwear. Let’s consider another important part of the shoe.
The “Upper” is the section of the shoe that surrounds the foot from the top. It is the high part of the shoe, everything from the sole up – from the toes to the heel. Uppers can be made from all kinds of altered materials, from synthetic to leather, and all sorts of fabrics. Depending on your foot type and preferences, you may pick various sorts of connection and resistance in the upper.
This section of the shoe helps to work out your midsection and the first part of the foot. Too loose movement in this area will cause lesions, and your tarsals and metatarsals might be weakened which can eventually cause fractures tendonitis, and other problems. Remember, that’s your own fault, you can’t force the footwear wholesalers or retailers to be responsible!
If you want to check the quality of the upper part of the shoe, put a hand into it and move it around. Try it around and move… do you encounter lots of motion, with little resistance, or is the shoe rigid, with little movement. Athletic shoes need to be tough and durable, and they won’t yield with time. This is also relevant if you need to choose the fabric. If the sole is durable, pick ones with light, webbed upper. Of course, you’ll need to readjust – many footwear wholesalers will offer various kinds of shoes and they might be available in your local shoe store!
